I checked out the Dennis Hopper exhibit, Double Standard, at MOCA while in LA this weekend. It was an amazing collection of sculptures, paintings, photography, and film by the late actor/artist. The photos were my favorite as they captured all the interesting people, places and eras of Hopper's life. This is probably THE most beautiful collection I've ever seen. The Frida Kahlo references ("Her three obsessions: religion, sensuality, and... the human anatomy") are beautifully interpreted and the intricate craftsmanship is breathtaking.
