WWLFT: November

What We're Looking Forward To: November!
1. Lincoln: The movie staring Daniel Day Lewis and directed by Steven Spielberg.  This is sure to be one of those beautiful, sweeping, cinematic epics, with Oscar worthy performances and amazing cinematography and costumes. What's not to love! Opens November 9th.
2. Crossfire Hurricane: This is all you need to know: The Rolling Stones, Documentary, HBO. Trust, it will be good. Debuts November 15th.
3. Unapologetic: We have SO much love for RiRi and we can't wait for her much anticipated new album. Drops November 19th.
4. Kate: The Kate Moss Book: THE ultimate collection of Kate Moss photos shot by iconic photographers and curated from her own archives as well. Available November 20th.
BONUS: A juicy (and rare) interview in Vanity Fair's November Issue, where Kate discusses Johnny, her partying days, and of course, her career. Pick it up now!!

Finally, as we get ready for Thanksgiving and we take a moment to reflect on the year that is coming to an end and all that we are thankful for, let's not forget to pay it forward and support organizations like the Red Cross who are helping New York City and a major portion of the East Coast as it recovers from Hurricane Sandy. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who have been affected.

Time Traveling: Vintage NYC

Gorgeous pics of old school NYC from an amazing Flickr photo stream by Michael Sean Edwards (via one of my new fave blogs: EV Grieve). These are just a few of MANY gems in the sets: NYC 1978-1985 and NYC 1986-1999 which capture The City and mostly the East Village during its grimiest, rawest, coolest, prime.
